Theraplicity is dedicated to supporting the developmental journey of children. Our therapists travel to homes, daycares, and preschools to provide therapy with your child’s comfort and safety in mind. Combining efforts with family members and educators, our mission is to help your child learn and grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
Orit Binshtock, MS CCC-SLP is the founder of Theraplicity. She is a graduate of New York University’s Communicative Sciences and Disorders Program. Orit has worked with children experiencing a variety of disorders such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Apraxia, Dysarthria, Articulation Disorder, and Hearing Impairment.
She has provided services for the Department of Education’s District 75 (Special Education), Committee of Preschool Education (CPSE) cases, and Committee of Special Education (CSE) cases. In addition, Orit is involved in providing Early Intervention therapy sessions. In doing so, she travels to homes, daycares, and schools to work closely with families, daycare providers, educators, and other therapists involved in helping children overcome their difficulties. Orit also conducts evaluations for children of all ages.
Additionally, Orit mentors Clinical Fellows (CFs) through their initial year of work. She enjoys working alongside other therapists to teach, exchange ideas, and collaborate in providing effective treatment. Orit is currently enrolled in New York University’s Academic Leadership Program to obtain her School Building Leader (SBL) license. She aspires to continue growing professionally and enhancing the quality of her therapy.
